VCA Spring 2024 Service Project
Members of the Vintage Cooperative of Ankeny are again amid a service project to help out two organizations with needs that members can help meet. Caring Hands and Ankeny Northwest Elementary PTO have provided members with a list of items that they can use to help others. In both case people are being served that need a little assistance with personal products or children with hunger that need an afternoon snack.
Pictured above are donations from the first day of collections. The PTO list is short and includes four items: Pretzels, Popcorn, Cherrios and Goldfish. Caring Hands could use body soap, shampoo, conditioners, bathroom paper, and dental care products. Three merchants that provide reasonable prices for these items are Sam’s Club, Costco, and Dollar Tree.
